Porto is the city that gave its name to Portugal – from an early age (c. 200 BC), it was called Portus Cale, later becoming the capital of Condado Portucalense, which gave rise to Portugal.
Porto is also a city known worldwide for its wine, the bridges that connect it to Gaia and its historic center, classified as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. In this city you will find secular buildings next to great contemporary works!
With a local guide, we tour the city and visit some of the most iconic sites and buildings! Included in our tour is the tasting of traditional pastries, the mini-cruise on the Douro River, lunch in a local restaurant and the visit with tasting in a Port Wine cellar!
Note: Full day tour with local tour guide in group of 2 to 8 people. The entire tour is done on foot.
